INTERCITY MAAS
Matkahuolto – A road to digitalization
Matkahuolto, Finland’s biggest nationwide bus operator, wanted to improve intercity bus travel experience, increase customer base and enhance visibility in the Finnish market. With the map-based Matkahuolto branded app customers can search, book & pay for a door-to-door trip including all needed transport services – both intercity and local – all in one click directly from the route itinerary.

REGIONAL MAAS
Vamos – Rural MaaS in the San Joaquin Valley
California Air Resources Board (CARB) wishes to promote less polluting travel in rural areas. Two transit agencies provide relatively limited transit service over a large area of San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties where a significant part of the population has limitations in using private cars. There are multiple demand responsive transport (DRT) services in the area – including volunteer driver services – but it is hard to discover all the possibilities. Kyyti provides the transit agencies Vamos branded user app and intermodal route planner enabling to discover service offering and travel chains consisting of both DRT services and fixed routes. Vamos app was launched in May 2019, and in 2020 public transport tickets will be added to the offering.

DEMAND RESPONSIVE TRANSPORT
Denver – Largest demand responsive transit setup in the USA
Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) has the largest set of demand responsive transit services for the general public of any metropolitan public transport agency in the USA. Our comprehensive technology platform enables the RTD to manage its FlexRide operations in 23 service zones in the Denver region since 2010. High levels of automation make demand responsive service hassle-free for customers, giving FlexRide the RTD’s highest customer satisfaction rating of 4.6 out of 5.

DEMAND RESPONSIVE TRANSPORT
PostAuto – Kollibri shared ride service in Brugg
PostAuto was looking to replace or complement fixed route services with modern demand responsive transportation to better serve their customers, Swiss cantons. In small towns like Brugg (population 10 000) people have limited possibilities to use public transport and park their cars in town center, especially at the train station when commuting to Zurich by train (30 min).
